February 7, 2012

The Osmonds have announced their final UK tour. It's called The Osmonds - Final Tour - Up Close and Personal and will see the brothers performing 50 dates from 9th March to 6th May 2012, starting at Bristol's Colston Hall and finishing at Bournemouth International Centre.

Fans expecting to hear their greatest hits will not be disappointed, as the brothers plan on performing Let Me In; Down By The Lazy River; Crazy Horses; Love Me For A Reason and Jimmy Osmond's number 1 hit from 1972, Long Haired Lover From Liverpool.

Speaking about the tour, Jimmy said: 'We truly want this tour to be a great big thank you to all our fans for their love and support through the years. We've performed in the UK many times, but this final tour will take us all around the UK and allow us to get up close and personal with our fans - we can't wait!' In addition to his music career, Jimmy has also pursued a career in London's West End, appearing in Chicago and Grease recently.

For over five decades, The Osmonds have experienced huge success, with 'Osmondmania' spawning at the height of their fame. Each of them also had success with their solo careers. Altogether, they have recorded over 200 albums - including 59 gold and platinum recordings - and have sold in excess of 100 million copies worldwide. In 2003, they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in recognition of their contribution to the music industry.
